Publishing Principles and The Publishing Process

PUBLISHING PRINCIPLES AND THE PUBLISHING PROCESS

CASESS (Current and Advanced Academic Studies in Educational and Social Sciences) is an international refereed journal published 2 (two) issues per year. In the future, this number can be increased with the approval of the editorial board. Apart from these issues, CASESS may publish special issues and additional issues. The publication languages of CASESS are Turkish and English.

All copyrights of the articles published in CASESS belong to the journal. Any article published in CASESS may not be published or reproduced elsewhere without permission from CASESS. Legal responsibilities that may arise from the content of the article belong to the article authors.

Authors wishing to submit an article to CASESS must first log in to the casess.org website and register using their e-mail address. Registered authors are given a password. Authors can log in to the system using their username (e-mail address) and password and upload their articles to the system. The process begins when the authors upload their articles to the system. Authors can follow the referee process of the articles from the same system.

After the article is uploaded to the system by the author, the editor/editor assistants check whether the uploaded article complies with the spelling rules. The articles are directed to the referees after the approval of the editor. At least two referees are appointed for each article approved by the editor. After receiving the referee's comments, the final decision is made by the editor. Articles can be rejected, accepted as is, minor corrections or major corrections suggested. After the revision suggestions of the referees, the authors can add the corrected article to the system once. For this reason, authors should make corrections after carefully examining the reports of both referees.

Articles added to the journal system must not have been previously published elsewhere. Studies that have previously been published in symposiums, congresses or conferences can also be sent to CASESS for publication as an article. In such a case, in which symposium, congress or conference the abstract of the study was presented before, it should be reported under the title of "Author Statement" just before the references section in the article.

The editorial board of the journal has the right to withdraw the articles that are found to be in breach of ethics or that are found to be legally problematic by the relevant authorities.
